Asar-Ume - a charitable organization that has been supporting families and children with low socioeconomic status in Kazakhstan for over five years. Asar-Ume provides homes for those large families who face extreme poverty and unthinkable living conditions and empower these children to break the cycle of generational poverty. One of their key initiatives is the Ken Jurek Myn Bala program, which helps needy children to discover their potential and gain essential skills for a successful future.

Imagine the potential within every child – bright minds ready to shape tomorrow, yet held back simply because they lack access to opportunities. In Kazakhstan, countless children from low-income families dream of a future filled with possibilities, yet generational poverty stands in their way. Without help, many of these children may never have a chance to pursue higher education, discover their strengths, or realize their dreams.
This educational program is dedicated to breaking this cycle of poverty. Year-round, we provide transformative courses in foreign languages, programming, robotics, software skills, and more, equipping students with the tools and confidence to thrive in a modern world. Alongside essential skills, we also supply them with the materials they need, like laptops, to ensure they can fully engage with their studies.
With your support, we can give these children the resources and mentorship needed to become the first in their families to obtain a university degree, paving the way for a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
As part of this program, we are hoping to raise $50,000 (the total cost of this program for a year is 72.000.000 tenge ~ around $150K), these funds will cover the following expenses for kids camp:
• Rental of a facility
• Supplies and materials for workshops and creative sessions
• Logistics and setup for transporting and arranging necessary equipment
• Meals for all children throughout the camp
• Travel costs to bring children from other cities in Kazakhstan, making the camp accessible to youth from various regions
• Guest speakers and trainers who will lead workshops, lectures, and hands-on sessions to enrich the children's learning experience
• Camp merchandise to provide each child with lasting memories of the experience.
These expenses will allow us to create an enriching, memorable program that will be a key milestone in the lives of these young participants.
